Why We Do What We Do

The Chunklet Music Preservation Project was founded with the mission to collect and preserve ephemeral materials for future scholarship and enjoyment. The inclusion of newly discovered materials alongside archival materials available to the public further legitimizes the mission of the Project—to find and share. While the preservation of photographs and concert flyers is itself important work, it is the sharing of the materials that brings the enjoyment.
